Cosgrove, along with hotel leadership and local VIPs, including Bill Miles, President of the Hilton Head Island VCB, and David Ames, Mayor Pro-Tem of Hilton Head Island, celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event featured speeches, DJ entertainment, food, refreshments around a branded ice sculpture, and property tours.
The first phase of the extensive project, which began in December 2023, resulted in the transformation of 340 guestrooms. The redesign includes a soothing color palette reflecting the serene ambiance of Hilton Head Island. Each room now boasts revitalized bathrooms, luxurious bedding, coastal-inspired furnishings, flat-screen LCD TVs, custom hardwood finishes, and more. Comfort and coastal elegance blend seamlessly, with shades of blue and brown enhancing thoughtful details such as stylish wall hooks, textured wall coverings, and unique bedside light fixtures.
The resort's multi-million-dollar transformation continues with plans to enhance the ballrooms, meeting spaces, dining and retail facilities, outdoor areas, spa, and more. Phase two, expected to be completed by May 2025, will introduce a new hot tub and adult pool with private cabanas, a refreshed lobby bar, an expanded pool bar, a new poolside retail area, and other exciting improvements.
With 24 different room types, including deluxe rooms, executive suites, signature suites, and fully accessible rooms, the resort caters to a variety of travelers and price points. The presidential suite, known as the Palmetto Suite, offers panoramic views of lush tropical gardens from two private balconies. Its expansive living area and parlor are bathed in natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows, and the full marble bathroom features a jetted spa tub. The suite also includes a large dining room table, a convenient wet bar, and numerous luxury amenities. Suites and VIP guests are greeted with personalized, embroidered hand towels upon arrival.
Set amid the natural beauty of Hilton Head Island, the property is surrounded by palmetto and palm trees, with hammocks and firepits scattered throughout the 11-acre resort. The U-shaped layout of the resort enhances tranquility, allowing all guestrooms to feature spacious and private balconies.
