Discover Dominica Authority has announced the introduction of a new non-stop flight from New York/Newark to Dominica's Douglas-Charles Airport (DOM), operated by United Airlines. This expansion follows substantial upgrades at Douglas-Charles Airport, including a 6,351-foot runway extension and the installation of runway grooving, which allows for larger aircraft and enhances safety by reducing flight cancellations. Additionally, the terminal has been modernized to increase capacity and improve operational efficiency.
