The Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Investment, has unveiled ambitious plans to attract 19 million tourists to the Red Sea coast by 2030.

The plan seeks to develop a thriving coastal tourism sector that will contribute SAR 85 billion (approximately $23 billion) to Saudi Arabia's GDP by 2030.

SRSA aims to capture 30% of the Kingdom’s leisure tourism market and 40% of its entertainment spending, while also creating more than 210,000 jobs in the hospitality, environmental services, and infrastructure sectors.

The report emphasizes sustainability, with a strong focus on protecting the Red Sea's marine ecosystem, which is home to some of the world’s most pristine coral reefs.
