WHY IT RATES: The Florida destination hasn't just rebranded: it built a whole new website to help travelers learn everything they need to know about the region. - Lacey Pfalz, Associate Writer, TravelPulse

The New Year brings a new look to The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel with a rebranding to Fort Myers - Islands, Beaches and Neighborhoods. The new name comes with the launch of a new website, VisitFortMyers.com, and a revamped Visitor Guide designed to reflect the beauty of the destination.

"The new brand, which has been long in the making, encompasses our entire destination today and our sense of community," said Tamara Pigott, executive director of the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau. "Fort Myers - Islands, Beaches and Neighborhoods is built on five key pillars that include change of pace, commitment to nature, connection to water, sense of community and an active lifestyle."

The new website, VisitFortMyers.com, and a 2022 Visitor Guide have been revamped to feature the new branding. In addition to the new logo - a fresh color palette of bright pinks and yellows, cool blues and greens - has been introduced. These colors connect the nature and landscape of Fort Myers with the surrounding area, capturing the destination's vibrant personality.

To debut the new branding, the destination has also launched a "It's a Good Day" marketing campaign, built on the belief that it's time for more good days, and there is one place - Fort Myers - Islands, Beaches and Neighborhoods - that delivers. The hashtag #myfortmyers will link to the destination and offer inspiration for travelers around the world.
