Etihad Airways achieved a record-breaking financial performance in the first quarter of 2025, posting its highest-ever quarterly profits with a thirty percent increase compared to the same period last year. The airline announced total revenues of one billion seven hundred ninety million U.S. dollars alongside after-tax earnings of one hundred eighty-seven million dollars. This significant growth was driven by consistent passenger demand, a larger fleet capacity, improvements in operational efficiency, and an upswing in cargo business.

Headquartered at its main hub within Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, the airline currently services eighty destinations globally. Its network primarily spans the Middle East, Europe, and South Asia, catering to both business and leisure travelers. Expansion plans for 2025 include the launch of sixteen new routes. Notably, the airline will introduce nonstop flights connecting Abu Dhabi with Atlanta, Hong Kong, Prague, and Taipei, strengthening connectivity and offering passengers greater travel options.
