Killing of six including mother and baby a targeted attack, California officials say

Law enforcement officials continue to search for at least two suspects who remain at large, he said.

The bodies of the infant and 17-year-old mother, who family members have identified as Alissa Parraz, and her baby, Nycholas Nolan Parraz, were located in a ditch outside the home, Boudreaux later told the Los Angeles Times. Both had gunshot wounds to the head, and Boudreaux said that it appeared the teen was trying to flee the violence with her son.

Several others were shot in the head, including an elderly woman who Boudreaux said appeared to be shot in her sleep while in bed. Two women survived by hiding in a trailer on the property.

Samuel Pina said on Monday that his teenage granddaughter, Alissa Parraz, and her baby, Nycholas Nolan Parraz, were among those killed.
