Chris Snyder, Woolpert Vice President and Aviation Program Director, stated that the contract aligns with Terre Haute Regional Airport's goals to enhance infrastructure and amenities while training future pilots and maintenance professionals, preparing for airside and landside expansion.
The contract outlines potential improvements such as hangar development, pavement rehabilitation and expansion, airfield lighting enhancements, safety and sustainability initiatives, FAA air traffic control tower upgrades, and the integration of advanced air mobility projects.
