This year's festival, brought to life by the Irish Association of Youth Orchestras (IAYO), promises a day filled with spectacular musical performances, with shows at 1:00 pm and 7:30 pm.

The IAYO stands at the forefront of nurturing young musical talent across Ireland. This vital organization connects over 5,000 young musicians from 108 different youth orchestras. Since its foundation in Ennis in 1994, and later evolving into a registered charity in 2001, the IAYO has been pivotal in developing youth orchestras, enriching the cultural landscape of Ireland.

Support for the IAYO flows generously from The Arts Council, complemented by backing from Cork City Council and significant endorsements from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, and Music Network through the Music Capital Schemes running until 2023.
