Antalya, a sparkling jewel on Türkiye’s Mediterranean coast, has set a new milestone in global tourism. The city welcomed nearly 17.3 million visitors in 2024, achieving its highest number of annual tourists to date. According to the provincial directorate of culture and tourism, the city recorded an 8% increase in arrivals compared to 2023, making it one of the most popular travel destinations worldwide.
The total number of tourists arriving in Antalya in 2024 reached 16.93 million, excluding the additional 352,754 transfer passengers entering through Antalya Airport. Combined, these figures brought the total to 17.28 million visitors, as shared by the provincial directorate of culture and tourism.
Sector representatives have embraced this momentum, strategizing to surpass 18 million visitors in 2025 while enhancing tourist experiences and infrastructure.
