The American Samoa Visitors Bureau (ASVB) has announced a strategic partnership with the South Pacific Tourism Organization (SPTO) to enhance the skills and capabilities of its staff.

This collaborative effort aims to strengthen the local tourism industry through targeted training and development initiatives.

The partnership will culminate in a comprehensive training program led by renowned media and photography expert Mr. Robert Rickman.

Scheduled to take place from September 19th to 23rd, 2024, the program will focus on photography, video & audio production, and editing techniques specifically tailored to the unique needs of American Samoa's tourism sector.

Taimalelagi Minnie Tuia, Director of the American Samoa Visitors Bureau, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership: "We are thrilled to collaborate with SPTO to invest in the growth of our local tourism industry.
