Spain has given the green light for the construction of a stunning Caribbean-inspired resort near the renowned tourist destination Seville, set to feature pristine beaches. This groundbreaking €100 million project, located only four miles from Seville, will create a luxurious artificial paradise. The resort will boast an expansive 1.49-hectare lagoon alongside immaculate white sand beaches, offering an exclusive escape for visitors seeking both relaxation and adventure.
The resort will boast a luxurious 200-room five-star hotel, three high-rise apart-hotel towers, a cutting-edge event venue, an international food court, a sky bar offering breathtaking views, and a scenic promenade with top-tier recreational amenities. Designed to be a public-access destination, guests can enjoy swimming, water activities, and a premium beach experience, all just a stone's throw from Seville's lively urban atmosphere.
Lagoon City is projected to provide a substantial economic uplift to the area. However, developers need to obtain further permits within the next 18 months before large-scale construction can begin. The initiative is also poised to lower tourism-related carbon emissions by offering an exotic beach getaway nearby, minimizing the need for long-haul flights and bringing crystal-clear waters and tropical paradise straight to Spain.
