The latter, located approximately an hour and a half from Miri, has revealed archaeological findings dating back 65,000 years, offering invaluable insights into early human history.

With a population comprising 34 different ethnic groups, Sarawak is a melting pot of cultures and religions. This diversity is celebrated through numerous festivals and holidays, reflecting the state's harmonious coexistence. The Minister emphasized the importance of preserving and showcasing this cultural richness to the world.

Educational Initiatives and Community Development

Efforts are underway to improve education and healthcare, particularly in rural areas. Programs aim to transition nomadic communities to more settled lifestyles, enhancing their quality of life and access to essential services.

Renewable Energy and Innovation

Sarawak is at the forefront of renewable energy initiatives, being the first in the region to explore hydrogen energy solutions. Collaborations with countries like South Korea and Japan underscore the state's commitment to sustainable development and technological advancement.
