A new initiative aimed at enhancing Northern Ireland̢۪s vibrant nightlife and supporting its thriving hospitality and tourism industry has been launched.
The Northern Ireland Night-Time Commission, established by Hospitality Ulster and the Night Time Industries Association (NTIA), seeks to advocate for businesses, promote the night-time economy, and influence key policy changes to ensure continued growth.
More than 70,000 people are employed in the industry across the country, and hospitality accounts for two-thirds of all tourism spending.
Anna Doherty, Chief Executive of the Londonderry Chamber of Commerce, highlighted the importance of addressing barriers limiting the growth of the night-time industry, particularly in the North West.
The Northern Ireland Night-Time Commission is expected to play a pivotal role in supporting businesses and helping the night-time economy continue to thrive, both locally and internationally.
