Malaga Cruise Port has reaffirmed its dedication to the local community by organizing the second edition of its innovative road divider painting competition, following the inaugural event in 2020.
Held from February to March, the contest saw enthusiastic participation from students at the San Telmo Art School.
The primary aim was to enhance the port area and create a welcoming visual experience for cruise passengers, featuring artworks that reflect the local maritime heritage.
This approach fostered community engagement and reinforced connections with local residents.
Beyond enhancing urban aesthetics, the painted dividers also contribute to road safety by improving visibility for drivers and pedestrians.
This second edition has enabled young artists to leave a lasting impact on the city, beautifying the streets while strengthening the cruise terminal's role as a key player in Malaga's cultural and social landscape.
