Sands and Sands China are the only companies from the Casino and Gaming category to achieve recognition on DJSI World this year. Sands remains the sole representative for the category on DJSI North America, while Sands China is one of only two companies recognized on DJSI Asia Pacific.

DJSI World, established by S&P Global, identifies global sustainability leaders, representing the top 10% of the largest 2,500 companies in the S&P Global Broad Market Index based on long-term economic, environmental, and social performance. DJSI North America and DJSI Asia Pacific highlight the top 20% of the 600 largest companies in their respective regions, adhering to the same rigorous criteria.

The DJSI, introduced in 1999, is the first global series of sustainability benchmarks, covering a wide array of regional and country-specific indices. Evaluating over 13,000 companies annually, the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment measures industry-specific economic, environmental, and social criteria, serving the growing base of sustainability-focused investors.
