Iberia Group has inaugurated direct flights from Madrid to Ljubljana, offering over 2,500 seats to the Slovenian capital this summer. The route, operated by Air Nostrum̢۪s Canadair Regional Jet 1000, provides two weekly flights on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tickets are available for purchase from 89 euros each way and travel agencies, with a return ticket required. The inaugural flight, IB8666, was celebrated by key officials including Robert Latin, Director General of the Directorate for Air and Maritime Transport at Slovenia̢۪s Ministry of Infrastructure, and Janez Lapajne, Sales and Marketing Manager at Fraport Slovenija.
