Severe weather has disrupted travel plans across the UK as strong winds prompted the cancellation of around 100 flights at Heathrow Airport today, Sunday, December 22.
The cancellations coincide with the Christmas getaway, a period of heavy travel, with millions expected on the roads and in the skies.
The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for wind across parts of the UK, forecasting gusts of up to 75 mph in some areas. The warnings are in effect until 9 pm tonight and cover Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and parts of England, including the North East, North West, South West, West Midlands, and areas such as Yorkshire, Derbyshire, and Hampshire.
The "Dead Sea Scrolls" exhibit, announced at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, features ancient Jewish manuscripts, plus the rarely seen Ten Commandments Scroll.
