Gulf Air and Thai Airways Strengthen Travel Partnership, Adding New Destinations

Bahrain September 2024 – Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, has expanded its partnership with Thai Airways, enhancing travel connectivity across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. The codeshare agreement between the two airlines will now include 10 new destinations for Gulf Air passengers and 6 new destinations for Thai Airways, offering seamless access to key global markets.

Bahrain September 2024 – Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, has expanded its partnership with Thai Airways, enhancing travel connectivity across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. The codeshare agreement between the two airlines will now include 10 new destinations for Gulf Air passengers and 6 new destinations for Thai Airways, offering seamless access to key global markets.

The expanded partnership significantly increases Gulf Air’s network, with 14 codeshare routes now available through Thai Airways. Passengers will benefit from easier travel to popular Asian destinations, including Chiang Mai and Phuket in Thailand, as well as key locations in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Australia. In turn, Thai Airways passengers will enjoy access to 8 Gulf Air codeshare destinations, connecting them to Bahrain’s hub for onward travel to the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.

This collaboration enhances the global footprint of both airlines, providing passengers with more travel options, greater flexibility, and convenience. Gulf Air has reaffirmed its dedication to enriching the travel experience, while Thai Airways emphasized the new opportunities for generating additional revenue and improving passenger satisfaction through the extended network.
