Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) Launches New Podcast to Showcase Scenic Sussex Destinations

Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR), which operates Southern, Thameslink, Gatwick Express, and Great Northern services, has supported the launch of an exciting new podcast series that explores the scenic destinations across its Sussex network. Released on 20 March 2025, the seven-episode podcast series aims to inspire more travelers to take the train and discover the hidden gems along the Arun Valley Line, from Gatwick Airport to Amberley.

Exclusive Screening Event to Celebrate Launch

To celebrate the release of the podcast series, GTR hosted an exclusive screening of a 45-minute film titled The Arun Valley Line: Beyond the Rails at the Capitol Horsham last week. The screening brought together over 30 special guests, including GTR colleagues and volunteers who play key roles in maintaining and operating the network. The film and podcast, created by Whistlestop Arts, offer a behind-the-scenes look at the Arun Valley Line, highlighting the stunning landscapes, attractions, and walks accessible via the rail network.
