German Travelers Can Now Reach Paradise as Discover Airlines Launches Munich to Punta Cana Flights: New Update

Discover Airlines is set to elevate its presence at Munich Airport, Germany's second-largest, with an exciting addition to its winter 2025 flight schedule. Starting October 26, 2025, the airline will introduce up to three weekly direct flights from Munich to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Flights will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays, with an additional Monday connection available during the holiday season. Notably, these flights will serve as the only direct link from Munich to the Caribbean leisure hotspot, catering to the growing demand for tropical escapes.

This development is part of Discover Airlines' broader expansion strategy, which includes the launch of its long-haul services from Munich this March. The airline is positioning two Airbus A330 aircraft at the airport to support a robust network of destinations. In the summer schedule, Discover Airlines will operate multiple weekly flights to Windhoek, Orlando, and Calgary, with Calgary being replaced by Punta Cana in the winter months, extending services through Easter.

The addition of Punta Cana reflects the airline's responsiveness to tour operators and travelers seeking more connections to the Caribbean. With four weekly flights already departing from Frankfurt to Punta Cana, Discover Airlines will offer daily connections to this idyllic destination in winter 2025.
