Following a devastating 14-month period where tourism in the Galilee ground to a near halt, the region is seeking to revitalize its economy with the 12th annual Galilee Winter Festival.
This year, the festival is making a unique move, bringing the spirit of the north directly to the center of the country at the Givatayim Theater from January 1st to 4th.
A Celebration of Galilee
The festival will transform the Givatayim Theater into a miniature Galilee, with the building adorned in the region's colors.
A dedicated tourist information station, designed in the style of the ancient Akko citadel, will provide visitors with travel tips and recommendations.
The theater cafe will also undergo a Galilean transformation, offering a menu inspired by local cuisine featuring fresh, regional ingredients.
