The Brazilian Civil Aviation Authority (AGAC) has officially confirmed that the death toll from the Voepass Airlines flight 2283 crash in Vinhedo, Sao Paulo state, has reached 62.
All individuals on board the aircraft, including passengers and crew, perished in the accident.
Initial reports indicated 61 fatalities, but subsequent investigations revealed an additional victim who was not initially accounted for on the passenger manifest.
The airline has attributed this discrepancy to a technical error.
Brazilian authorities have confirmed that an additional passenger, previously unaccounted for, was among the victims.
