Alhind Group, headquartered in India, has carved a niche as a comprehensive travel service operator, offering a range of services from ticketing to tailored travel packages across various destinations. The group's extensive network and strong partnerships within the travel industry have positioned it as a key player in the sector. With the recent approval from India̢۪s Civil Aviation Ministry, Alhind Group is set to expand its portfolio by launching Alhind Air.
The forthcoming airline, Alhind Air, is slated to begin operations by the end of the year, contingent upon securing a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Civil Aviation Ministry and an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Director General of Civil Aviation. This strategic expansion aims to bridge the connectivity gap between regional airports in South India, initially connecting Kochi to Bengaluru and Thiruvananthapuram to Chennai. Following the initial phase, the airline plans to extend its reach to major cities across India and explore international routes.
Alhind Air will commence its operations with three ATR-72 aircraft focused on regional connectivity, with plans to upscale to Airbus A320 aircraft for its international flights, reflecting its commitment to offering a robust and expansive flying experience. This move is anticipated to enhance the accessibility of air travel in the region and contribute significantly to the growth of the domestic aviation market.
