Air Canada reaffirmed its commitment to diversity and inclusivity by serving as the official airline partner of the 2025 Most Inspiring Immigrants in Atlantic Canada event for the third consecutive year. The event, organized by My East Coast Experience, recognizes outstanding immigrants who have made significant contributions to their communities in the region.

In addition to recognizing community leaders, Air Canada also supported five international students through a $2,000 bursary awarded as part of the Student Bursary Program. Students were selected based on personal essays showcasing their leadership and positive contributions to their new communities.

Eric Lauzon, Director of Community Relations and Partnerships at Air Canada, reflected on his experience as part of the jury:

Through its sponsorships and community initiatives, Air Canada continues to elevate economic development, celebrate cultural diversity, and empower newcomers, making Canada a welcoming place for all.
