During a field hearing on the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump on Monday, former Navy SEAL and Blackwater founder Erik Prince provided detailed analysis on security failures that were evident during and in the lead up to the assassination attempt.

U.S. Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ) a former SEAL Team sniper who did multiple combat tours in Iraq began by asking Mr. Prince about his company's record.

After leaving the SEAL Teams, Prince founded Blackwater initially as a training company for law enforcement and military units. Upon the outbreak of the war on terror, Blackwater shifted to providing security for diplomats and other high-profile protectees in active war zones. A total of 41 Blackwater contractors the majority of whom were U.S. special forces veterans were killed in action during the Iraq war.

Blackwater has the distinction of having never lost a protectee.
