NEW: Trump Discusses Barron's Growing Political Profile In Latest Interview

Former President Donald Trump discussed the rising political profile of his youngest son, Barron, in a new interview with Breitbart News.

In a sit-down interview at his Mar-A-Lago estate, Trump credited Barron with setting up his recent interview with Adin Ross, one of the world's most popular live-streaming whose audience almost exclusively consists of younger voters.

"My son, he's a great kid a tall kid he's a great kid," Trump told Breitbart News. "He said 'Dad, you got to do Adin Ross.' Barron is the one that pressed me to do it. That's a big deal, isn't it? The platform did over 100 million hits in one day."

Trump's sit-down with Ross which racked up tens of millions of views across all platforms began with the former president describing it as "the most important interview I've ever done."

"My son Barron says hello. A great young guy, and he's a big fan of yours," Trump told Ross.

The Daily Mail recently reported on how Barron has taken a more active role in setting up interviews for his father. The piece focused on Barron's relationship with conservative influencer Bo Loudoun, 17, who is credited with increasing Barron's political engagement.

While Trump's oldest sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, have long been involved in their father's campaigns and governance, Barron is now starting to enter the political arena.

Barron recently received a standing ovation from 45,000 Trump supporters during a rally at the former president's Doral golf course in the Miami area.

As Trump was giving shout outs to lawmakers and family members in attendance, the presidential frontrunner paused to introduce Barron, 18, for the first time at a political rally. "And a very young man, this is a young man, he just turned 18," Trump said, at which point supporters began to stand up and cheer.
