Former Artichoke editor Penny Craswell has written a new book about sustainable housing, surveying 25 exemplary houses from across the globe. Featuring design ingenuity, new technologies and sustainable materials, the homes are a testament to how sustainability looks today. There's a mud-brick box in the Texan desert and a completely petrochemical-free timber cabin in Sweden. Through a shared vision by the architects and clients, the projects in this book show us how homes of all scales and locations can be environmentally responsible and easy on the eyes.

Artists CJ Anderson and Jay Jermyn redefine lighting design through their brand, Objects for Thought (Oft), transforming it into an art form. By merging industrial materials with refined aesthetics, they aim to challenge conventional design. Their philosophy emphasizes meaningful connections with light and objects, creating "experiences" that resonate and evoke an emotional response in any space. Their debut collection, the Rider Range, is a cohesive suite of lighting defined by simplicity. A glass dome is the characteristic feature, repeated in Single, Double, Triple and Quad variants to form this iterative collection.

Emphasizing longevity and patina, the stainless steel will develop unique marks over time, adding character to each piece.
